Billy Connolly' Wife wants to perform on a TV cooking show

Billy Connolly was woken up at the night and thinking about his wife's dream to perform on a TV cooking show.

Star Pamela Stephenson joined celeb chef Simon Rimmer on BBC2's Something For The Weekend, Pamela, 61, said, "I can't tell you how embarrassed I am. Billy called me from New York where it's the middle of the night and all these people are texting him that I actually asked how long it takes to cook the mousse. Is that the stupidest question anybody ever asked on this show?"

Pamela also said during her period in the kitchen that her's husband, 68, usually did the cooking at home.

She said: "I'm really bad at this - I don't cook at all. Billy's centre stage in the kitchen and I like it that way. I don't know where to start. I wouldn't even know where to find the ingredients."
