Billy Connolly reveal, he has working on his first movie script

Billy Connolly has revealed that he currently working on his first movie script.

The comedian currently this year has been seen on films including Gulliver's Travels and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, but he is now one of his own script for success is expected.

Connolly told Scotland's Daily Record, "I have got an idea for a film but, like a lot of my ideas, I have a good first third and then nothing".

"I think it's a really good idea and I'm scribbling away. I think I should find somebody to work with on it."

Connolly said that the film's comedy career is built on the work with pride, such as lead roles in Mrs Brown and The Last Samurai.

He said, "It's the kind of thing I always wanted to do, but I'm a bit limited, so I'm not surprised it has gone the way it has".

"I thought I had a wonderful film career, compared to, you know, considering where I come from and what I do. I'm delighted I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever."
